Our mentor, Mr. Ajit Pal Singh and great captains in the past have led the team on the road to victory for two consecutive years in Hockey India League in 2013 and 2014. This year, we return as a new team with renewed spirit. We have Simon Child as our captain. He’s played Field Hockey at 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. We also have one of the best drag flicker in the world, Rupinder Pal Singh, as our vice captain for Hockey India League 2016. This, combined with the expert guidance of our chief coach, Mr. Cedric DSouza, reinforces our confidence of getting the champions trophy back and we just have one word for the opponents - #RokSakoTohRokLo.

With the new and young players in the team, this year, we are determined to catalyse the process of our victory. We are a strong team committed to making a difference and setting another record for victory. Packed with determination, grit and no-fail attitude, our team comprises of 20 players: 8 international and 12 Indian. We are proud to unite this diverse mix of global talent into Delhi Waveriders.

We also want to thank our sponsors who supported us this year for the Hockey India League. We would like to extend our gratitude to Prayag India, TVS Tyres, Devils Circuit, Zabardast Hit 95 FM, Ricoh India and D.M.R.
